GSDTA SUMMER DANCE MINI-INTENSIVE - 2012

OUR annual Summer Mini-Intensive starts Thursday, July 19th. Golden State Dance Teachers Association (GSDTA) as always, gives Educational credits toward Certification. These Intensives are never identical. They ALWAYS contain the latest information on making your dance participation more FUN - more educated - and one step closer to being the best that you can be. This exciting program is not only valuable for every level of dancer, but is known world-wide for its excellent Teachers Training Certification. Skippy Blair says: “THIS is the year. Come and share a valuable FUN filled 2 Days.”     WORLD FAMOUS Golden State Dance Teachers Association (GSDTA) MIAMI Intensive SCHEDULE - 2012 THURSDAY - JULY 19th, 2012 11am: Registration & Orientation 11:30 - Noon: Skippy Blair Welcome & Video Highlights - Noon - 1pm: Mary Ann Nunez - Critical Timing - Sending Foot - Contra-body Movement Centering over the Unit Foot - and other Elements that Hone your Dancing Skills 1pm - 2pm: Sarah Grusmark -“Essential” Dance Rhythms & Unit Training that have become so famous for raising dancer's level of performance. 2PM - 3:30pm: Sarah Grusmark - "Motion Study" - Put the "Rhythms" into action - Then put the "action" into your dance. 3:30pm - 5pm: Mary Ann Nunez - Turns: Pivot, Break & Torque 5pm – 7pm: DINNER BREAK & The Evening Thursday Night Dance FRIDAY - JULY 20th, 2012 10am – 11:30am Mary Ann Nunez - Developing Body Flight through Rolling Count 11:30am -12:30pm Sarah Grusmark from University of La Verne, Ca. - Amazing Connection: Torque Turn - Turning Basic & Whips 12:30pm – 1:30pm Mary Ann Nunez - Developing your skills without a Partner 1:30pm - 2:30pm LUNCH BREAK 2:30pm - 3pm GROUP Picture for INTENSIVE 3pm to 4pm Mary Ann Nunez - Latest Highlights on MOVEMENT Techniques 4pm to 5pm: Sarah Grusmark - Exam Review for EVERYONE (Whether or not you are taking the Exam, the information is invaluable). 5pm: Preliminary Exam (First Step toward Certification) Registered Exam - for Certification in GSDTA - (for those who have already met the qualifications required).
